ABSTRACT This research aimed to determine the effects of various fermented juices as a source of nitrogen (N) fertilizer on the performance of Spring Onion (Allium fistulosum L.) under protected environment. The study was conducted from May 23 to November 10, 2018 inside a tunnel type greenhouse. Five treatments were applied, T1- No inorganic nitrogen (N) fertilizer, T2 Inorganic nitrogen (N) fertilizer, T3- Fermented Wedelia, T4- Fermented Calopo Shoots, T5- Fermented Hagonoy Shoots. Based on the result it was revealed that there is no significant difference on the growth and yield performance of spring onion. In terms of cost and return analysis Spring onion applied with Fermented Wedelia Shoots have the highest R.O.I. Therefore, it was concluded that any of the treatments could be used as it will result to the same effect on the growth and yield performance of Spring onion (Allium fistulosum L.).
