EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: The study aimed to determine the Effectiveness of the Simulation Software in Physics for Grade 9. The study was conducted in Angono National High School. The respondents were thirty four (34) Grade 9 students. They were divided into two groups, the experimental and control, having seventeen (17) students each. The researchers used a researcher made test to determine the level of performance of the respondents before and after exposure to the developed simulation software and its Effectiveness as Simulation Software in the Physics for Grade 9.The research study showed that there is significant difference on the pre-test and post-test results of the students who are exposed to the software. The significant difference on the level of performance of the control group and experimental group as revealed by thr post-test result with respect to the different lessons in Physics is Significant. The Simulation software is very much effective as an instructional material in Physics with respect to the different lessons as revealed with the perrcentage increase. The research study showed the effective use of simulation software in teaching Physics paticularly on the topics heat, efficiency, energy and electricity and magnetism as it helped increase the performance of the students especially on the lessons given. The researchers recommend therefore that the developed Simulation Software could be adopted and be used in teaching Physics for Grade 9 particular in lessons such as heat, work, and efficiency, power generation and energy losses and transmission and distribution of Electrical energy. The software could also be imrpoved in its features, sound system and graphics. Moreover, parallel studies may be conducted using different variables and different lessons in Physics.
