EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: This study aimed to determine the food sanitation and safety practices of concessionaries at the University of Rizal System. The study was conducted in University of Rizal System Morong Campus. The respondents of this study was composed of thirty (30) customers from the COE, thirty (30) from the COS, thirty (30) from CoEng and thirty (30) from CIT and thirty (30) selected concessionaries with the total of one-hundred fifty (150) respondents. This study was a descriptive type of research wherein questionnaire-checklist was used for gathering data. The questionnaire-checklist consisted of items to determine the food sanitation and safety practices of concessionaries in terms of sanitation practices, safety awareness and handling tools and equipment. As revealed in the results of the study, on the extent of food sanitation and safety practices of concessionaries, both groups of respondents often observed proper food santitation practices, safety awareness and proper handling tools and equipment. Furthermore, the respondents' evaluation significantly differ in terms of food sanitation, safety awareness and handling tools and equipment thus, the null hypothesis was rejected. It was concluded that food sanitation and safety practices are often observed at the University of Rizal System Morong Campus and it was recommended to implement continuously the food sanitation, safety practices and proper handling of tools and equipment and conduct parallel studies considering other variables.
