EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: The objective of the study was to find out the relationship of the readiness and concerns of the respondents towards tertiary educationin terms of different variables. The study was conducted in selected schools in Rizal namely: Tomas Claudio Colleges, Morong National High School both in Morong Rizal and Dalig National High School in Antipolo City. The respondents of the study were the 150 students of Grade 12 from the said schools. They were chosen through the random sampling technique. The study used the descriptive method of research specifically survey method to utilize the researcher-made questionnaire checklist validated by the experts before its administration to the respondents. vii The data were analyzed using the computed mean in determining the readiness and concerns of the respondents, Pearson-r analysis was used to find out that there's no significant relationship between the readiness and concerns of the respondents. It shows that the readiness of a student comes from their own understanding of one's personality preferences followed by the development of their psycho-social for they seek guidance and support from the people around them and lastly in terms of financial to equip them with their personal finances. Whilein the concerns the result support the importance of the career orientation for it helps students to address and look at all the factors, along with theirinterests, abilities, aptitudes and strength for better understanding of their career choice and these two factors of concerns is essential before a students do better decision making. Furthermore, the result of the study shows that concerns are identified and conquered for them to reach the point of readiness towards tertiary education these concerns must first be met in order for a student to be determined as ready. As general recommendations, Career orientation may start as early as grade 9 regarding the specific academic track that is being offered by the schools. Guidance counselor may conduct career guidance/counseling for students to assist them in their career path; the school may strengthen the career orientation program and seminar for the students to assist them in making meaningful and wise decision on career choice. The government may continue to seek a way to provide financial assistance for the students.
