520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC.
Summary, etc EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: This study entitled MCU-based Motor Control and Training Kit was designed for instructional purposes and to give more knowledge to the Engineering students on how to use a microcontroller as an automatic controller, and to determine the level of acceptability of the developed MCU training kit. This study is provided with basic information and analytical skills for proper design so that it can meet the standard specification of the training kit. The methods applied on this study are developmental and descriptive research design. The developmental design was used to improve the system of the project. The developed MCU-based motor control and training kit consists of the major component which are the microcontroller unit itself, and the motors for simulation of the device. The researchers programmed and conducted specific activities concerning motor controls to help them assess the developed training kit for instructional purposes. The provided activities of the researchers were simulated to the respondents to determine the level of acceptability of the training kit. The output's acceptability in terms of functionality, usefulness, reliability, accuracy and safety and maintenance were appraised through the use of questionnaire. Two (2) groups consisting of five (5) professionals/experts and ten (10) Engineering students were requested to answer. The result shows that the developed MCU-based Motor Control and Training kit is very much accepted in both types of respondents. Based on the findings and conclusion drawn, the researchers recommended that further study should be made to improve the product. Future researchers can develop and add more features in the system. The principal conclusion was that the developed training kit is effective and can be used as an instructional material for the Engineering students.
