520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC.
Summary, etc EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: This study aimed to determine the status of Technology and Livelihood Education facilities of public secondary schools in Morong District. The variable used to determine the compliance of the public secondary schools are the prescribed minimum standard requirements of DepEd and the non-prescribed materials in terms of Home Economics and Information and Communication Technology facilities. Qualitative discussion was used to determine the status of Technology and Livelihood Education facilities in terms of prescribed and non-prescribed requirements in Home Economics, Information and Communication Technology. Qualitative discussion was also used to determine the extent of compliance of TLE facilities in public secondary school as per standard based on the minimum standard requirement prescribed by DepEd. Percentage distribution was used to determine the percentage of compliance of the Technology and Livelihood Education facilities of the public secondary schools in Morong District. The study found out that the public secondary schools in Morong District partially complied with some of the prescribed minimum standard requirement of DepEd in terms of Home Economics and Information and Communication Technology but somehow manage to provide other tools, materials and equipment that is not prescribed in the list of the minimum standard that is necessary and highly needed in doing practicum and hands-on activities of the students. The non-prescribed materials somehow bring ease in the absence of the minimum standard requirement. In terms of Home Eonomic facilities the tools, materials and equipment that are available and serviceable are partially complied in the DepEd minimum standard, and in terms of ICT facilities the materials available and serviceable almost complied with the given minimum standard of DepEd. The percentage of the materials in the TLE facilities complied by the three schools have exceeded in 100% meaning the materials available has more than the quantity that is prescribed in the minimum standard of DepEd. In general, the study concluded that the public secondary schools in Morong District partially complied with some of the prescribed minimum standard of the Department of Education and although there are some basic materials which did not comply, the schools are able to provide some of the necessary materials that are very much needed in Home Economics and Information and Communication Technology. The recommendations offered are: A SWOT analysis for the public secondary schools in Morong District may be conducted as part of a follow up study; the result of the study may serve as a basis for the conduct of a study with wider scope considering other secondary schools in the Rizal Province; The result of the study may serve as a guide in putting up a Home Economic and ICT Laboratory Room for public secondary schools in Morong District; And the result of the study may be used as a guide for recommendation of the school who has least compliance among others.
