520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC.
Summary, etc EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: This study aimed to develop a modified valve spring remover, which could contribute on the development of industry. It was conducted at university of rizal system, morong rizal during S.Y. 2018-2019. Specifically, it sought to make work easier and faster for the end-users, automotive experts and students. The design of the device is more on its application considering the safety of the users, and acceptability of the project. The device was carefully designed to stand an excessive force to hold the valve spring tightly to remove and install it easily. In conducting this study, the researchers used developmental and descriptive methods of research. The study utilized two group of respondents. The first group of the evaluators included ten (10) automotive experts and other group of evaluators included twenty (20) automotive students from university of rizal system, morong campus. Based on the try-out and revisions made by the researchers, the length of the hook is too long and it was reduced. The handle is slippery and the revisions was to place an insulated holder. Lastly, the valve spring holder moves out of place and the revision made was to install a lock. Based on the findings of the study, it was found out that in terms of usefulness, durability, safety and maintenance and functionality all were extremely accepted according to the evaluation made by the respondents. The researchers concluded that there is no significant difference between the evaluation made by the automotive experts and en-users on the acceptability of modified valve spring remover in terms of usefulness, durability, safety and maintenance and functionality. Based from the findings and conclusions drawn, the researchers recommended that the device may serve as an instructional tools in the transfer of learning to the students. Further adjustment should be done specifically minimizing the body size for its simplicity. Follow up study should be conducted for the improvement and further innovation.
