Summary, etc. ABSTRACT The study was conducted to determine the performance of free range chicken supplemented with different levels of humic acid using Complete Randomized Design (CRD) with four treatments and three replications. It was conducted at University of Rizal System, Tanay Main Campus at Brgy. Sampaloc, Tanay, Rizal. Free range chicken were reared for sixty days starting from August 8 to October 6, 2018. The one hundred twenty (120) heads of animals were fed with commercially available feeds and trichantera leaves mixed with rice bran in ad libitum manner while humic acid served as water supplement. The first group was supplemented with 120 ml humic acid mixed with 880 ml water and the second and third groups were given 160 ml and 200 ml humic acid mixed with 840 ml and 800 ml water while the first group was given 1,000 ml pure water. The results of the study showed that supplementation of humic acid to free range chicken at level 120 ml mixed with 880 ml water significantly increased the gain in weight and improved feed conversion efficiency. Higher return on investment was attained even without the supplementation of humic acid, however, acceptable ROI which is 28% can also be realized with 120 ml humic acid. The researcher recommends the supplementation of humic acid to free range chicken especially at 120 ml mixed with 880 ml water to produce a significant increase in weight and to improve feed conversion efficiency.
