Summary, etc. This study was designed to identify the types of code switching committed in specific parts of the lesson such as review, motivation, introduction of lesson, lesson paper, and evaluation, extent of errors and the reason why Teachers commit code switching in the delivery of instruction. this study was conducted at Paagahan National High School Main, Matalatala Annex, and San Miguel Extension, School year 2017-2018. There were nine (9) non- English language teachers who are major in Science, TLE, and MAPEH out of the twenty-five (25) total population of teachers at Paaghan National High School-Main, Matalatala annex, San Miguel Extension who serves as the respondents of the study. descriptive method is appropriate in the study since it aims to discover the reasons why there is language shifting as medium of instruction in subjects intended to use English language the study utilized the researcher-made questionnaire-checklist to collect data from the target respondents. the variables of the study includes the profile of the respondents, subject handled, the code switching types committed by the respondents during review, motivation, introduction of lesson, lesson proper and evaluation with respect to intrasentential code switching,tag code switching and intra-word code switching in addition are the reason for the code switching of the respondents in the delivery of instruction with respect to social, demographic, attitudes, and values.
