Summary, etc EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: This study aimed to determine the Performance of Bachelor of Secondary Education students in the pronounciation of the vowel Sounds during the school year 2015-2016. The study was conducted at Universty of Rizal System, Morong, Rizal. The respondents of the study were the thirty (30) Bachelor of Secondary Education students with their respectives dialects. The study was conducted with the purpose of determining the performance of BSE students in the pronounciation of vowel sounds when grouped according to their dialects, and to develop a learning activity from the result of the study. The study made use of the descriptive research design using an adapted paragraph in gathering the needed data, to determine the performance of Bachelor of Secondary Education students in the pronounciation of vowel sounds when grouped according to their dialects, mean and standard deviation were used. At the end of the study, the researchers found out that tagalog speakers are better than the Bikol and Bisaya speakers in the pronounciation of the vowel sounds, therefore the speakers of Bikol and Bisaya needs further practice. Thus, the researchers concluded that the majority of the respondents need further improvement in the pronounciation of vowel sounds. Hence, it is suggested that program for English Proficiency must be developed and continued, and students must also be introduces and exposed to the IPA, encourage them to use their English Communication in their everyday lives. Further studies may be developed that is related to this present study. Additionally, the researchers developed a learning activity in the form of a booklet with the intention of correcting and improving the pronounciation of vowel sounds of the students.
