Summary, etc EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: This study entitled Proposed Community Park in Barangay Calahan, Cardona, Rizal: Feasibility study aimed to the problem in terms of tourist spot and to produce additional income for the community development of the Municipality of Cardona. This study sought to analyze the strength and weaknesses of the following terms of location, accessibility, topography and site utilities. The study also develop a design of the community park with different amenities such as entrance gate and guard house, administration office, cafeteria, restaurant, store, park toilet perimeter fence, picnic area half basketball court, biking area, playground, and benches. Furthermore, this study also determine the profitability in terms of financial profitability and socio-economic profitability and finally the construction the miniature model. Based on the summary of findings, the researchers concluded that the Proposed Community Park of Barangay Calahan Cardona, Rizal: Feasibility study attained its feasibility based on the objectives of the study. The researchers consider several factors in analyzing the proposed community park. In terms of location, putting an appropriate road signs which located at the main route of Barangay Calahan to easily locate the community park, putting advertisings signs every other municipality especially in Cardona Rizal. For accessibility, reducing and limiting the physical barrier within the park and the landscape and visual impacts of the proposed community park, for topography, access road to Community Park should be improved to pursuits such as walking, cycling and running and the site must be elevated of at least 2.5 m height riprap to reduce possible flooding and drainage system must be established around the park. And for site Utilities, the Municipality of Cardona should allocate funds to regulate the needs of water and electricity supply to operate the community park, there should be proper waste segregation management and must be mandate regular collecting garbage in the community park. The researchers also draw and estimate the different amenities of the proposed project specified as entrance gate and guard house, the total estimated bill of materials is P 124,994.75, administration office, the total estimated bill of materials is P 89,324.25 cafeteria, the total estimated bill of materials is 99,521.50, restaurant, the total estimated bill of materials is P 233,766.75, store, the total bill of materials is P 140,309.75, park toilet the total estimated bill of materials is P 127,992.75, perimeter fence, the total bill of materials is P 322,875.25, recreational areas, the total bill of materials is P97,575.00 and landscaping costs P 911,780.00. The grand total bill of materials of all buildings, recreational areas and other structures costs P 15,579,840. The material and total labor costs are P 22,590,768.00. The value added tax at 12% is P 2,710,892.16 and the contingency fund at 10% is P 2,259,076.80. The total project cost is P 27,560,736.96. The project was determined in terms of financial profitability by computing the income during one year operation of P 6,509,400.00 and increases annually by 10% at a period of five year. Likewise, the project is accepted because the Net present value cost P 21,509,064.00 and it is greater than zero and the benefit cost ratio is 5.31 and accepted because it is more than one. For socio-economic profitability, the project generates tourism growth and working with industry and community partners to establish a prosperous tourism industry. It also generated employment to the residents of Cardona for their additional income and improves standard living. On the construction of the miniature model of the proposed community park of Barangay Calahan, the researchers used 1:175 as the scale of the Miniature
