Summary, etc EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: The dual Pane Electric Generating System was developed to be a source of alternative energy by harvesting the water and wind's kinetic energy and converting into electrical power. The researchers believe that the answer for the power shortage is by using the maximum ability of the renewable source of energy. The device that the researchers developed was composed of water turbine, air turbine, differential gear transmission, 12V DC Generator, pulley, and the frame casing made from steel. Developmental, Descriptive and Experimental Methods of Research was used by the researchers was used by the researchers in this study to complete the output. The researchers utilized that were focused on the mechanical components of the Dual Pane Electric Generating System considering its blades such as tachometer, anemometer, tape measure, multi-tester. The device's level of acceptability in terms of its usefulness, safety and maintenance, and functionality was perceived as Highly Accepted after evaluation through questionnaire checklist by teacher and electrician respondents and expert engineers. Based on the summary of the design results, the researchers concluded that the Savonius Wind Turbine can generate an output voltage of 3.9V and the Water Turbine can generate an output voltage of 4.5V, if Water and Air Turbines are combined it can generate an output voltage of 5.33V. The output voltage generated by the turbines depends upon the air and water velocities. The researchers came up with the following recommendations: the future researchers may consider to add sprocket and roller chain at the end of the wind turbine shaft and connected to other sprocket using roller chain to increase the rotational speed that it can transmit to bevel gear. Flywheel should be used for constant delivery of power to generator, 12v dc generator can be replaced directly by a 220v ac generator depends upon the water flow rate.
