Summary, etc | EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: This study entitled Anti-Theft Device Powered by Solar Energy aimed to develop and construct an instructional material. Specifically, it aimed to design and construct an Anti-Theft Device Powered by Solar Energy out of locally available materials, perform try-out and revisions, determine the level of acceptability of Anti-Theft Powered by Solar Energy in terms of Usefulness, Functionality, and Safety and Maintenance, determine the significant difference of the acceptability of the Anti-Theft Powered by Solar Energy. The researchers utilized an adapted and modified questionnaire checklist as an instrument for the evaluation to determine the acceptability of the Anti-Theft Device Powered by Solar Energy. There were fifty (50) respondents, forty (40) end users, and ten (10) experts who evaluated the developed device in terms of usefulness, functionality and safety and maintenance. The Anti-Theft Device Powered by Solar Energy was developed out of locally available materials. On the acceptability of the Anti-Theft Device Powered by Solar Energy in terms of usefulness as evaluated by the experts and end-users, it achieved a verbal interpretation of extremely accepted having an overall weighted mean of 4.68 and 4.74 respectively. In terms of functionality of the project as evaluated by the experts and end users it also obtained a verbal interpretation of extremely accepted having an overall weighted mean of 4.65 and 4.88 respectively. In terms of safety and maintenance of the device was evaluated by the experts and end-users and obtained a verbal interpretation of extremely accepted with an overall weighted mean of 4.65 and 4.88 respectively. Based from the findings of the study, it was concluded that the Anti-Theft Device powered by Solar Energy as evaluated by the experts and end-users in terms of usefulness, functionality, and safety and maintenance is not significant, therefore, the bull hypothesis is accepted. From the summary of findings, the researchers concluded that the Anti-Theft Device Powered by Solar Energy was completed and constructed out of locally available materials. It was then determine that the project was accepted as evaluated by the respondents. On significant difference in terms of usefulness, functionality and safety and maintenance. It was found out not significant. Based from the summary findings and conclusions, the following recommendations were formulated; Other researchers should design and develop electrical devices powered by renewable energy source like solar power; the study can be used by other researchers as basis in conducting similar studies; Feasibility study for possible mass production should be taken into consideration; other research instrument should be revised in order to rest other variables that may affect the performance of the project. |
