EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: This study aimed to design an Architectural Hexagonal Green Building. Specifically, it aimed to determine its acceptability in terms of aesthetic, design, environmental impact, timeliness of design and usability of design. Furthermore, the study also aimed to determine the significant difference between the evaluations made by the experts and drafting students, draft set of plans and landscaping and construct miniature of the Architectural Design of Hexagonal Green Building. Based on the summary of findings, the study concluded that the Hexagonal Green Building attained its objectives. The acceptability of Architectural Design of Hexagonal Green Building in terms of aesthetic design, environmental impact, timeliness of design and usability of design was found out to be extremely acceptable for experts and extremely acceptable for both experts and drafting students. The evaluation of the architectural design of design of hexagonal green building between the two groups of respondents, the experts and the drafting students, revealed that the evaluation of the Architectural Design of Hexagonal Green Building made between the two groups of respondents, the experts and the drafting students, environmental impact, and usability of the design. However, there is a significant difference in terms of usability of design. The researchers prepared and drafted several set of plans which includes architectural plans such as floor plans, elevation, interior design, exterior design and landscape design. The researchers constructed a miniature of the building for the experts and students to figure out both the interior and exterior phase of the structure. Based on the suggestions of the experts and students, the study recommended that, since the design was highly accepted by the respondents particularly the experts, the design maybe subjected for implementation or construction once a possible demand of user arise. The study might be highly accepted by the respondents, but revisions in the study must be done to improve more the output. |
