Summary, etc. EXECUTIVE SUMMARY Off-Season Tomato Production and Native Pig Finishing was the project study established by the student as a partial fulfillment for the degree of Bachelor in Agricultural Technology. The project serves as the training groundfor the students to be able to corroborate with acquired skills and knowledge from the school. This program expands the entrepreneurial abilities of students. OffSeason Tomato Production and Native Pig Finishing was conducted inside the University of Rizal System, Tanay Main Campus. The Native Pig Finishing was conducted for a period of 3 months, from August 5, 2018 to November 23, 2018. The over-all expenses were financed by the students' parents and relatives. Five heads of native pig were purchased from the University of Rizal System amounting to two thousand pesos (P2,000.00 per head) with an initial total weight of 80 kilograms (16,14,17,16 and 17 kilograms). Native pigs are known to be resistant to diseases and can withstand weather condition in the project area. A ration of Madre de Agua (Trichantera) with corn and rice bran (base mix) and commercial feed was given as feeds for the animals. The roughage was manually chopped and mixed with the other ingredients. The animals were fed through wet feeding and roughage was given on an adlibitum manner. A transition in the mixture of feeds was assured based on the feeding guide and the transition of the nutritional needs of the animals as well. During marketing, the total weight acquired was 218 kilograms. The first pig weighed 38 kilograms and was sold at P145.00, the second weighed at 47 kilograms at P145.00, third was 43 kilograms at P145.00, fourth was 45 kilogram at P135.00 and lastly, 45 kilograms at P130.00 having a production cost of twenty three thousand six hundred thirty eight pesos and thirty seven centavos (P23,638.37). They were sold to a direct buyer on a whole sale basis, having a gross income of thirty thousand four hundred eighty five pesos (P30, 485.00),net income of six thousand eight hundred forty six pesos sixty three centavos (P6,846.37) with 28.96% Return on Investment. Off-Season Tomato Production was started on August 26, 2018 and ended on January 29, 2019. This project lasted in 5 months of operation. A total of 500 square meter of area was used in the project. Atlas F1 was the variety chosen for the operation. A total of 645.3 Kilograms of tomatoes were sold with a gross sale of twenty four thousand six hundred seventeen pesos (P24,617.00), total expense amounting to fifteen thousand eight hundred thirteen pesos and thirty five centavos (P15,813.35) a net income of eight thousand eight hundred three pesos and sixty five centavos (P8,803.65) that results to 55.67% Return On Investment.
