Summary, etc. EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: The study was conducted to determine the level of job stress and job satisfaction of teachers in Morong National High School. This study was conducted during school year 2017-2018. The subject of the study comprised 75 teachers of Morong National High School during the year 2017-2018. The study used descriptive research design utilizing the adapted modified questionnaire checklist in gathering the needed data about the level of job satisfaction and job stress of teachers. The data gathered using adapted modified questionnaire checklist were statistically treated using mean, ranking and Pearson-product moment (pearson-r). The findings revealed that job stress has significant relationship on the level of job satisfaction of teachers. In terms of the level of job satisfaction, the respondents were satisfied enough to handle their responsibilities in the field of teaching. In terms of the level of job stress, the respondents were considered as stress because of excessive work, lack of administrative and parental support, inadequate salaries, disciplinary problems, lack of students interest, overcrowded classrooms and public criticism of teachers and their work. The Computed R Value on the relationship of Job Stress and job Satisfaction of Teachers shows that in terms of lack of administrative and parental support and overcrowded classroom shows that there is no significant relationship. But on the other hand, in terms of excessive work, inadequate salaries, disciplinary problems, lack of students interest and public criticism of teachers and their work shows that there is no significant relationship between Job Stress and Job Satisfaction of teachers in Morong National High School. Based on the summary of findings, the study concluded that teachers in Morong National High School experience stress but do not affect the satisfaction with their job. From the findings the following were recommended: Morong National High School should continuously provide orientation and updated on the duties and responsibilities assigned through proper target settings of jobs before the performance period. Continuous providing of appropriate trainings and seminars should be maintained to continuously enhance the performance of teachers. They should also provide a stress free working environment conducive for faculty and staff members, and various programs that will enhance motivation whether financial or professional development in nature that promote job satisfaction. Lastly, consistent recognition and appreciation of good performance should be provided to teachers to boost their motivation and satisfaction.
