Summary, etc. | EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: This study entiled Development of Solar Powered Charger focuses on reducing the consumption of energy by harnessing energy from the sun. The study was mainly conducted at the University of Rizal System, Morong Campus, during the school year 2015-2016 from the second semester of 2015 up to the 1st semester of 2018. The research study comprised of a device which harness solar energy to be stored in power bank. It converts the activity done in the device from solar to chemical. One of the most useful principles in physics is the connection between electricity and light. Energy was produced through photoelectric effect. The development of Solar Powered Charger was constructed with the use of solar panel and circuit designing. When the solar panel harness energy from the sun the energy harnessed was stored in a battery. The stored energy was then regulated into different voltage according to its charging ports and battery type. In the researcher's point of view, the most ideal energy source would be the solar energy, its production, risks, yield and availability is significantly efficient. This is the energy source that the researchers have decided to utilize regarding the development of solar powered charger, which can be reliable in almost every situation, east to do generation and the variety of its application towards different kinds of smart devices. If the research device will be given a chance to be mass produced it shall pave way for both local and international markets and such investment will redound to a greater income hence, improve the economic situation in the country. |
