Summary, etc. | EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: An n-flake is a fractal constructed starting from an n-gon. This n-gon is replaced by a flake of smaller n-gons in the center of the line segment. The process is repeated recursively to result in the fractal. The study entitled Mathematical Analysis of n-flake was conducted at the University of Rizal System, Morong, Rizal. The researchers used the qualitative method because it is primarily exploratory research. It is used to gain understanding of underlying reasons, opinions and motivations. During the conduct of this study, the researchers were able to gathered data for analysis of n-flake. Based from the analysis, the researchers concluded that the pentaflake, hexaflake, hetaflake, nonaflake and decaflake satisfies the property of fractal geometric figure which is the non-integer dimension, while the Octaflake does not satisfy the property. The researchers recommended with the virtue of the preceding summary of findings and conclusions, the following recommendations are hereby stated: n-flake is non-integer dimension of different cases may be used in teaching introducing concept of fractal geometry. Follow up study of fractal using branches of tree, lighting and sea shell maybe conducted. |
