Summary, etc. EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: This study aimed to determine the factors that contribute to the pupils awareness on sex education. Thirty (30) grade 6 pupils from university of rizal system morong laboratory school served as the respondents of the study. This study used the descriptive design of research. A modified questionnaire checklist was used as the instrument in gathering the data for finding out the factors that contribute to the pupils' awareness on sex education in terms of sex, monthly family income, mother's occupation, and fathers's occupation. With analysis and interpretation of the gathered data, the findings showed that out of thirty (30) respondents most of them are female; most of them belong in a family having amonthly income bracket of 10,000 php- 20,000 and their parents have different types of occupation. Furthermore, it was found out that in terms of media, peer, family and school got the highest frequency. Also, there is no significant difference on the perception of the respondents in the level of awareness on sex education. It was concluded that monthly family income and parents' occupation are not significant factor while sex was a significant factor that contribute to pupils' awareness on sex education. Media, peer, family and school has a positive contribution when it comes to pupils' awareness on sec education and out of the four factors, family and school are the variables where grade 6 pupils got most of the information on sex education.
