520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC.
Summary, etc. This study was conducted to determine the effects of Mulberry (Morus alba) Leaf Meal as feed Additives at Different Ration to the Growth and Survival of Nile tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) fingerlings. The study utilized four treatments with three replicates such as treatment one 120 percent mulberry leaf meal and 90 percent commercial feeds, treatment two 15 percent mulberry leaf meal and 85 percent commercial feeds, treatment three 20 percent mulberry leaf meal and 80 percent commercial feeds. Completely Randomized Design (CRD) was utilized as experimental design of the study and Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) was used to determine the significant difference at 5 percent level of probability. The study was conducted last November 16, 2003 and determinated last January 16, 2004, which lasted for sixty (60) days. Sampling was done every twenty (20) days and feeding adjustment were done respectively in order to determine the growth increment of the fish. Based on the conducted study, treatment two gave the highest growth rate in terms of weight with 1.18 grams and .63 centimeters in terms of length. In terms of survival of 96.67 percent. Based on the result using F-Test, the computed value of 10.08 in terms of weight was higher than the tabular value. Therefore, there is a significant difference among the treatments used. The compute value of 1.87 in terms of length is lower than the tabular value, therefore, there is no significant difference among the treatments used while computed x² value 3.43 in terms of survival was lower than the tabular value thus, null hypothesis that there is no significant difference among the treatments was accepted.
