Dissertation note: Thesis BSF University of Rizal System. Cardona 2016 Summary: The study aims to assess the solid waste disposal practices and policies of the motorized boat passengers in Binangonan, Rizal. Specifically, it sought to answer the following questions what is the profile of respondents in terms of age, sex, higher educational attainment, occupation, barangay, and frequency of travel, and the question what is assessing solid waste disposal practice of the resident. This study is a sociological research designed to understand the various type of community management approaches as far as solid waste management is concerned. Specifically, it contains one case study of low income communities in barangay. This study is part of the urban waste expertise programmed (UWEP) initiated by waste and funded by the Netherlands General of international Cooperation. The survey was conducted through a questionnaire-checklist. The respondents of study were composed of ninety (90) passengers of the motorized boat in Binangonan, Rizal. The data were subject to statistical treatment, according to the specific requirement of the study to determine the profile of the respondent, frequency, percentage and rank distribution was used. To determine the solid waste disposal practices of the passenger boat in Binangonan, Rizal. To determine the significant different of the responses with regards to passengers profile in Binangonan, Rizal.
