EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: The researchers conducted the study to develop an Automatic used paper sorter. This machine was developed to sort put different pages of usable and non-usable papers. It can help offices and those people who have problem in sorting their papers regardless of the sizes of paper. This study was conducted at University of Rizal System Morong Campus by the College of Industrial Technology students, major in Electronics Technology during the school year 2016-2017. The research sought to design and construct an automatics used paper sorter. It aimed to test the performance of the machine in terms of its accuracy and its speed on sorting papers. The research aimed to test the level of acceptability of the automatic used paper sorter in terms of design, functionality, usefulness, safety and maintenance based on the remarks of the respondents consisting of office personnel and experts in different fields who are capable to test this project. The researchers analyzed and interpreted the data based on the collected information. On the evaluation made by the respondents on the acceptability of the developed automatic used paper sorter in terms of design, as evaluated by experts and end-users it is very much accepted having an average of 4.72 and 4.78 respectively, in terms of functionality, as evaluated by experts and end-users it is very much accepted having an average of 4.76 and 4.72 respectively; in terms of usefulness, as evaluated by experts and end users it is very much accepted having an average of 4.8 and 4.74 respectively; in terms of safety and maintenance as evaluated by experts and end-users it is very much accepted having an average of 4.6 and 4.77 respectively. Based on the summary of findings the conclusion was obtained. The acceptability of the automatic used paper sorter has been considered as very much acceptable by the respondents in terms of design, functionality, usefulness, and safety and maintenance as evaluated by the experts and end users. The result of overall is 4.47 made by the evaluators.
