Dissertation note: Thesis Bachelor of Technology major in Electrical Technology University of Rizal System-Morong. 2018 Summary: EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: This study aimed to develop an Automatic Car Wiper Utilizing Rainfall Sensor, Specifically this research intended to design and construct an Automatic Car Wiper Utilizing Rainfall Sensor, perform the try-out and revisions, determine the level of performance of automatic car wiper utilizing rainfall sensor in terms of sensor sensitivity and wiping capability, determine the level of acceptability of the automatic car wiper utilizing rainfall sensor in terms of usefulness, safety and maintenance, durability and functionality, determine the significant difference on the acceptability of the automatic car wiper utilizing rainfall sensor as evaluated by the two groups of respondents in terms of the above mentioned variables. This was conducted at University of Rizal System, Morong Campus during the School year 2017-2018. This study also focused on try out and revisions and in determining the level of acceptability of the automatic car wiper utilizing rainfall sensor in terms of safety and maintenance, usefulness, durability and functionality. This study utilized the developmental research since this is a purposive study of automatic car wiper utilizing rainfall sensor. The first and often the most difficult problem is designing the automatic car wiper utilizing rainfall sensor is the development of the plan that will enable the system to run and fulfill affectedly the purpose or which is too built. The constructions are explained in complete details from the planning period to the implementation. The initial trial conducted resulted to wiping and sensing function is not properly working due the error program of the microcontroller unit of automatic car wiper utilizing rainfall sensor. Hence, we adjust the program for easily sense and move faster of the wiping capability. On the level of performance of the automatic car wiper utilizing rainfall sensor according to its sensor sensitivity are can be used of fog effectively with 5 score which is highly effective and the lowest rank is 6cc - 7cc has scored of 1 respectively which is not effective. The overall mean got score of 3 which is effective. According to its wiping capability the result shows that the automatic car wiper utilizing rainfall sensor can be used effectively. It shows that the highest amount of water tested is 500 ml and above which scored of 5 which is highly effective and lowest amount of water is 100 ml and lesser its scores of 1 which is not effective. The overall mean got a score of 3 score which is effective. On the level of acceptability of the automatic car wiper utilizing rainfall sensor in safety and maintenance it implied that the device design and its mode of usage are easy to understand and accepted by respondents to be significantly useful to its users. In usefulness the result shows that the experts strongly accepted the device in terms of its usefulness. On the durability the result shows that the experts strongly accepted the device in term of its high quality built materials to its quality purpose the result implies that the developed is very strong accepted. In functionality experts strongly accepted the device in terms of its perform very well. The result implies that the developed device is very strongly accepted. On the significance difference on the level of acceptability on the evaluation of experts and end users on automatic car wiper utilizing rainfall sensor on the selected variables, the table shows that safety and maintenance got a mean difference of 0.1 with 28 degree of freedom at 0.05 level of significance got a computed t-value of 0.42 which is less than the tabulated t-value of 2.048 thus the null hypothesis is accepted and verbally interpreted as not significant. In terms of usefulness, it got a mean difference of 0.2 at 28 degree of freedom with 0.05 level of significance got a computed t-value of 0 which 2.8 degree of freedom at 0.05 level of significance got a computed t-value of 0 which is less than the tabulated t-value of 2.048 thus the null hypothesis is accepted and verbally interpreted as not significant. In terms of functionality, it got a mean difference of 0 with 2.8 degree of freedom at 0.05 level of significant got a computed t-value of 0 which is less than the tabulated t-value of 2.048 thus the null hypothesis is accepted and verbally interpreted as not significant. The automatic car wiper utilizing rainfall sensor was found to be strongly accepted in terms of safety and maintenance, usefulness, durability and functionality. It was found out that there is no significant difference between the evaluation made by the electrical and end-users on the acceptability of the automatic car wiper utilizing rainfall sensor in terms of safety and maintenance, usefulness, durability and functionality. Based from the result of the study, the researchers recommended that a automatic car wiper utilizing sensor may should be used in a car for a better and safety experiences. Connecting and disconnecting of wiring should be in a proper ways. Currents and voltage should be measured for safety purposes. A follow up study should be using other variables in utilizing and determining the effectiveness.
