EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: This study aimed to find out the relationship between Stress and Body Mass Index of Third Year College Students in the Bachelor of Secondary Education of University of Rizal System Morong Campus. One hundred fifty-three (153) third year college students of the Bachelor of Secondary Education in the University of Rizal System Morong Campus served as respondents of the study. Descriptive correlational research was used in the study utilizing the adapted questionnaire-checklist and the five-point Likert Scale instrument for the sources of stress or factors causing the stress. Frequency and percentage distribution was applied to describe the body mass index and stress level of the third year college students; mean was used to determine the different factors causing the stress; and Pearson-r correlation was employed to determine the relationship of body mass index and the stress level of the respondents. It was found out that majority of the students in the Bachelor of Secondary Education Program at the University of Rizal System Morong Campus have normal body mass index and their stress was mostly affected by the time-related concerns out of 5 factors and the least was the social concerns does. The study also showed that there was no significant relationship between the stress level and the body mass index of the respondents. Based on the conclusions drawn, recommendations include conduct of studies on variables other than body mass index; stress management program for pre-service teacher in the Bachelor of Secondary Education be included as part of the wellness program; and conduct of parallel studies related to stress and other variables, respondents and conditions.
