EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: This study aimed to determine the Readiness in Teaching Geometry in Junior High School of Fourth Year Bachelor in Secondary Education major in Mathematics of University of Rizal System Morong. This was conducted at University of Rizal System Morong Campus during the school year 2016-2017. The researchers made use of questionnaire checklist where the items are competencies in Geometry in junior High School and a test parallel to different competencies as instruments of the study in which they were content validated by the experts. To find out the extent of readiness of the respondents in teaching geometry in junior high school as revealed by test and perceive by themselves with respect to different competencies in geometry, mean was used. moreover, to know if there is significant relationship between the extent of readiness of the respondents in teaching geometry in junior high school as revealed by a test and perceived by themselves with respect to the different competencies in geometry, Pearson-r was used. The study found out that the respondents are very much ready in teaching geometry as revealed by the test with respect to the different competencies in Grade 7, with respect to the different competencies of Grade 8 the respondents are much ready, with respect to the different competencies of grade the respondents are slightly ready and also with respect to the different competencies in grade 10 the respondents are slightly ready. On the perceived extent of readiness of the respondents in teaching geometry with respect to grade 7 competencies the respondents are very much ready, with respect to grade 8 competencies the respondents are much ready, with respect to grade 9 competencies the respondents are very much ready and with respect in grade 10 competencies the respondents are much ready. On the significant relationhip between the extent of readiness of the respondents in teaching geometry as revealed by the test and as perceived by themselves with respect to the different competencies in geometry, the result failed to reject the null hypothesis that is no significant relationship between the extent of readiness of the respondents in teaching geometry as revealed by the test and perceived by themselves with respect to the different competencies in geometry. Based on the summary of findings, the study concluded the following: the respondents are much ready in teaching geometry in junior high school as revealed by the test results; the respondents are very much ready in teaching geometry in junior high school as oerceived by themselves; and the perception of the respondents on their readiness in teaching geometry in junior high school is independent to the result of the test given to them. Based on the summary of findings and conclusions drawn, the following recommendations are hereby offered: Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Mathematics students must know the different competencies in Geometry in junior high school for them to be ready in teaching; the college should conduct activities in preparation for the pre-service teacher in mathematics; and parallel studies should be conducted considering other variables and group of respondents.
