EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: The main purpose of the study is to know the readiness of Grade 11 STEM learners in Calculus. The subjects were 88 or 100% of Grade 11 STEM learners in STEM (Science and Technology, Engineering and Mathematics). The respondents were selected purposively. The study used the descriptive-survey method of research. It is focused on the prerequisite skills and the performance in Basic Calculus of selected grade 11 STEM learners. The study was conducted at University of Rizal System - Morong Campus during the Academic Year 2017-2018. Mean, Standard Deviation and Pearson-r were the statistical tools used to treat the problems presented in the study. Based from the data gathered in the research-made test consist of different prerequisite skills of Grade 11 STEM learners the following findings were obtained. The Level of Performance in Basic Calculus of the Respondents as Revealed by Their Academic Grades and Summative Test are Very Satisfactory Based from the findings, the study concluded that Binomial theorem is found to be the strengths of the senior high school STEM learners in the prerequisite skills of Basic Calculus while Mathematical Induction is their weakness and the performance in Basic Calculus of the senior high school STEM learners varies every year. The result which is very satisfactory was been met reflecting that the topic included without prior knowledge slightly affected the scores. This case shows that a series of lessons without concrete continuity or missed pre-requisites can affect performance. It is highly recommended that pre- requisites should be critically identified. From the results and conclusions obtained, the study recommends that Mathematical Induction should be given more emphasis since it is the weakness of grade 11 learners STEM learners.
