Summary: EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: This study entitled Automated Temperature Maintaining Device for Pig Pen was conducted primarily to avoid pig stress due to increasing temperature of the pig pen by producing mist water through the mist nozzles by means of the Submersible water pump during school year 2018-2019 It is designed and built to prevent possible heat stress of pigs due to increasing temperature by providing mist from nozzles by means of water pump. It is developed system device to accurately sense the temperature inside the pen and to maintain it a low state. The study made use of the developmental, descriptive and experimental methods of research since this focused to come up with a Automated Temperature Maintaining Device for Pig Pen. To determine the level of acceptability of the developed system in terms of maintainability, performance efficiency, reliability, security and usability questionnaire checklist was administered to the pig owner, experts and students. To answers the research objectives - maintainability, performance efficiency, reliability, security and usability were used as the variables. The researchers gather the temperature in the pig pen at time exactly 10:00am - 2:00pm and records it. When testing the researchers also record the time it needed to decrease the temperature in the pen. Furthermore, based from findings, the study concluded that the Automated Temperature Maintaining device for Pig Pen is one of the best way that could give an efficiency to the pig owner for this system device sense the accurate temperature in the pen with the use of the dht11, this sensor is connected to the Arduino UNO that gives the signal to the relay that turns on the water pump with the hose connected and with the mist nozzle installed in the hose wherein this hose and nozzles are the responsible in producing mist water which is also responsible in decreasing of the temperature in the pen.
