Dissertation note: Thesis BSBA-FM University of Rizal System, Binangonan 2017 Summary: This study aims to determine the Working Capital Management of Selected Water Refilling Stations in the Second District of Rizal. This was conducted during Calendar Year 2015. The researchers used Descriptive Method to describe the Working Capital of the selected 71 Registered Water Refilling Stations In the Second District of Rizal. The respondents used Questionnaire Checklist in collecting data from the owners/managers of business and such data were tested with different statistical treatment, such as Frequency, Percentage, Rank Distribution and One-Way ANNOVA. Based on the data being collected, with respect to the profile, most of the respondent's belongs to the age bracket of 31-40 has a frequency of 29 or 40.8 percent. In terms of gender, 43 or 60.6 percent were male. In terms of civil status, most of the respondents were married with frequency of 47 or 66.2 percent. In terms of highest educational attainment, most of the respondents were college graduate with the frequency of 45 or 63.4 percent. In terms of length of service, most the respondents open their business from 8:00am-6:30pm. In terms of business operation, most of the respondents are in service for 1-5 Years with a frequency of 37 or 52.1 percent. In terms of number of employees, 42 or 59.2 percent of the respondents have 3 and below number of employees. In terms of owner's capital, most of the respondents used their own savings with frequency of 64 or 90.1 percent. In terms of initial capital at least of the respondents started at Php. 500,000.00 and above with the frequency of 42 or 63.4 percent. In terms of present capital at least of the respondents have Php. 500,000.00 and above with the frequency of 28 or 39.4 percent. In terms of cash management item number 1 ranked first "Maintains a minimum level of petty cash on hand" with the weighted mean of 4.42 with a verbal interpretation of "Always". In terms of accounts receivable management item number 5 ranked first "Maintaining goodwill so you don't lose potentially good long-term customers" with the weighted mean of 4.62 with a verbal interpretation of "Always". In terms of inventory management item number 10 ranked first "Avoids overstocking" with the weighted mean of 4.52 with a verbal interpretation of "Always". In terms of accounts payable management item number 4 ranked first "Provides adequate salary to employee worker" with the weighted mean of 4.66 with a verbal interpretation of "Always".
