Dissertation note: Thesis BSBA-FM University of Rizal System, Binangonan 2017 Summary: This study primarily aimed to determine the Financial Management Practices of Bazaar Stalls in Taytay, Rizal Calendar Year 2015. The researchers used the descriptive method to describe the present conditions and the respondents' perceptions to gather all information needed. The questionnaire checklist was the principal instrument used to collect the necessary data from 213 bazaar stalls with 213 respondents which were the owners of bazaar stalls using statistical treatment such as frequency, percentage, rank distribution and one way analysis of variance. The questionnaire-checklist was composed of the profile of the respondents in terms of age, sex, civil status, educational attainment, monthly income, and length of service. It also include profile of the business in terms of forms of business organization, Years in business operation, initial capital, present capital, number of workers, sources of capital, monthly income of the business, and manner of product acquisition. The researchers employed the different variables such as cash management, inventory management, and receivables management. Based on the presentation, analysis and interpretation made, the researchers summarized the findings and concluded that: Most of the respondents were 30-39 Years old, female, married, and high School graduate, earns a monthly income of below Php10,000 with 5 Years and below length of service. In terms of business profile most of the bazaar stalls in Taytay, Rizal were operating their business under sole proprietorship with 3 and below employees, earns a monthly income of below Php20,000.00. Most of them were in the service industry from below 5 Years with the initial capital of below Php30, 000.00 and a present capital of below Php30, 000.00. Among the Financial Management Practices of Bazaar Stalls in Taytay, Rizal, cash management obtained a weighted mean of 4.22 and verbally interpreted as "Always", followed by inventory management with the weighted mean of 3.84 and verbally interpreted as ''Often'', followed by receivable management with the weighted mean of 3.22 and verbally interpreted as "Sometimes'' The researchers found out that there is no significant difference on the perception of the respondents on the Financial Management Practices of Bazaar Stalls in Taytay, Rizal with respect to cash, inventory, and receivable management, in terms of age, sex, civil status, educational attainment, length of service, form of business organization, Years in business operation, number of workers, and monthly income of the business, but in terms of sources of capital, manner of product acquisition there is a significance difference among the respondents' perception. In terms of monthly income of the respondent initial capital, present capital, sources of capital there is significant difference among the respondents' perception only on the receivable management. Based on the findings and conclusions of the study, the researchers recommended the following: The researchers recommend that the manager should record all the transactions of the business for the future basis. Simple management of bazaar stalls should be improved through the owner by studying or acquiring some knowledge on how to operate a business effectively and properly. They must borrow additional fund to creditor for the improvement of their business. The researchers strongly recommend to the owners to deposit the daily earning of the bazaar stalls for safekeeping and for future matters. There must be a continuous study on the changes in the financial management of bazaar stalls using other variables, because contemporary days always bring tremendous changes in the trend of business which may affect the financial management of bazaar stalls.
