Dissertation note: Thesis BSBA-FM University of Rizal System, Binangonan 2017 Summary: This study entitled "Financial Control Process of Fashion Boutiques in the First District of Rizal, Calendar Year 2015". Its main objective is to identify the owners perception on the financial control process in terms of cash flow conducted in fashion boutiques in the first district of Rizal. The study used the descriptive method. A questionnaire checklist was the primary source of data in this study and the respondents were the owners and employees of the fashion boutiques in the first district of Rizal, the data gathered were through the use of questionnaire checklist from 19 registered fashion boutiques. The variable such as age, sex, civil status, educational attainment, forms of organization, Years of existence, initial capital, present capital, number of employees, number of operating machines and monthly income were treated with vii corresponding statistical treatments such as Frequency, Percentage and Rank Distribution, Weighted Mean and One-Way Analysis of Variance (ANOVA). Based on the profile of the respondents in terms of age most of the respondents fall with the age bracket of 41-50. Majority of them were female. In terms of civil status most of them were married. Lastly, in terms of educational attainment majority of the respondents were college graduate. Based on the profile of the business in terms of business organization, majority of the respondents were sole proprietor. Majority of them were in the service industry from 5 and below and 5.01-15 Years while most of the respondents have an initial capital of Php10, 000 and below. In terms of present capital, majority of the respondents have a present capital Php40, 001-50,000. In terms of number of employees majority have 5 and below number of employees. Also most of the respondents have 11 to 15 numbers of operating machines. While majority of the respondents have an average clients per day of 6 to 10. And lastly, most of the respondents have a monthly income amounting of Php 50, 001 and above. The perception of respondents on the financial control process of the fashion boutiques in the First District of Rizal with respect to cash inflow, majority of the respondents maintains the minimum balance of cash available for current operation. While in terms of cash outflow, majority of the respondents requires official receipt original from supplies for every payment made. Based on the tested hypothesis, the researchers found out that there was no significant difference on the perception of the respondents on the Financial Control viii Process of Fashion Boutiques in the First District of Rizal with respect to cash inflow and cash outflow in terms of age, sex, educational attainment, form of business organization, number of employees, number of operating machines, and average clients per day. However, it was found out that there is a significant difference on the respondents' perception with regard to civil status. The researchers recommend in terms of cash inflow that it is necessary to borrow from other institutions when the need arises in order to meet current cash deficits and assign the responsibility for handling cash receipts and records of cash to only one person without access to cash. While in terms of cash outflow, it is necessary to issues check for disbursement, prepares cash position statement or report of daily disbursement and invests excess cash that yields interests for the benefits of the business.
