Dissertation note: Thesis BSBA-FM University of Rizal System, Binangonan 2017 Summary: This study primarily aimed to determine the Financial Management of Native Delicacy Businesses in Cainta Rizal Calendar Year 2015. The researchers used Descriptive Method of thesis which examines the phenomena, group of people, idea or theory with a particular focus on facts and conditions of the subject. A descriptive thesis should not be biased. The respondents for this study were the owners, owner-financial managers and financial managers of Native Delicacy Businesses of Cainta, Rizal. The questionnaire checklist was the principal instrument used in collecting the data for this study. Likewise, different statistical treatment was used. Based on the presentation, analysis and interpretation of data, the researcher summarized the findings and conducted that with respect to the profile, in terms of age most of the respondents' belongs to the age bracket of 29-38 Years old same with 50 Years old and above with a frequency of 4 or 33.3 percent. It means that they have more experienced in managing the daily activities of their business. Most of them were female with 7 or 58.3 percent. In terms of civil status, most of them were married with a frequency of 7 or 58.3 percent. Most of them were high School level and high School graduate with a frequency of 4 or 33.3 percent With respect to position, owner-financial manager rank first with a frequency of 8 or 66.7 percent. Profile in terms of length of services, 4-6 Years, 7-9 Years and 10-20 Years were tied in the first rank with a frequency of 3 or 25.0 percent. Based on the business profile, in terms of number of Years in operation, it indicates that 6 or 50.0 percent of the respondents established their business for 6-15 Years. In terms of capitalization, majority of them has a present capitalization of Php. 500,000 and below with a frequency of 44 or 83.3 percent. Perception of respondents on financial management of native delicacy businesses in Cainta, Rizal with respect to cash, account receivables and inventory management: In terms of cash management item 3 ranked first which is "Conduct regular audit", with weighted mean of 4.42 and a verbal interpretation as "always". In terms of account receivables, first in rank is item 5, which is "Checking of creditor's credit background" respondents acquired a weighted mean of 3.42 with a verbal interpretation as "often". In terms of inventories, first in rank is item 1, which is "Maintain adequate inventories." respondents, acquired a weighted mean of 4.75 with a verbal interpretation as "always". Based on the tested hypothesis, the researchers found out that there was a significant difference on the assessment of respondents in financial management of native delicacy businesses in Cainta, Rizal in terms of their profile. Moreover there is no significant difference between the business profile and the respondents' assessment on the financial management of native delicacy businesses in Cainta, Rizal.
