Dissertation note: Thesis Bachelor of Science in Guidance and Counseling University of Rizal System-Morong. 2017 Summary: EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: This study aims to determine the problems encountered by grade 11 students. The study was conducted during the school year 2016-2017 in University of Rizal System, Morong Campus and Tomas Claudio College. Descriptive method of research was used in this study. The researchers made questionnaire-checklist was the major instrument for gathering data. Frequency percentage, rank distribution, mean and ANOVA are the statistical methods used. The collected data were treated, interpreted and summarized. Based on the findings, the following conclusions from the study are drawn that most of the respondents are female, the whose parents are married, the occupation of parents most of them have a professional work, educational attainment of parents most of them college graduate, in monthly family income majority of income belonged in 20,000-29,999 types of school enrolled most of them enrolled in private school, types of track/strands where the students enrolled, belong to STEM. Based on the summary of findings, the following conclusions are drawn. Grade 11 students have married, working parents and are college graduate with an income enough to support their children. They are enrolled in different strands in both public and private schools. Employment opportunities is one of the major concerns of Grade 11 students. Personal information of grade 11 students are not contributory to the problems they encounter. In the light of findings and conclusions drawn, the following are hereby recommended. The school may intensify orientation seminar to junior high school students regarding employment opportunities. The school may provide adequate facilities and school equipment to uplift quality education for junior and senior high school students. Parallel studies maybe conducted considering other variables.
