EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: The study entitled "DATABASE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM USING BIOMETRICS OF BARANGAY SAN JUAN, MORONG RIZAL" was conducted to have a fast and reliable releasing of barangay certificates. The researchers believe that with the aid of this device, the task of barangay officials will be lessened. This study was conducted at the University of Rizal System-Morong during the School Year 2018-2019. To determine the acceptability of the study in terms of Accuracy, Applicability, Workability, User-friendliness and safety and maintenance of the system, the researchers selected three groups of respondents; five (5) experts, forty (40) students of University of Rizal System Morong and thirty five (35) residents of Barangay San Juan, Morong, Rizal who were the respondents on the study for they will be the beneficiaries of the device. The objective of the study is to develop a barangay database system using biometrics system to help the barangay officials in organizing and updating the current data as well as securing the releasing of barangay certificated to the barangay residents. Based on these summaries of results of evaluation, it was concluded that the device is capable to perform its task well; the researchers were able to design and construct a Database Management system using biometrics of barangay San Juan, Morong Rizal out of the locally available materials. The project also attains its functions based on the result of the evaluation made by the respondents on the project design; it shows that is very much accepted with regards to the efficiency, functionality and safety and maintenance. The researchers recommended to have further enhancement of the system, the system may be developed such as the details needed for the certificates is automatically inserted when the user verify their fingerprint and enhanced the administrator side of the device that can have a printing summary report to know the number of requested certificated and view the list of details of residents, develop the database of the system to increase the capacity of the data, implement the system to barangay San Juan, Morong, Rizal, and the system may be implemented in other barangays.
