EXCUTIVE SUMMARY: This study was conducted with the purpose of determining the feminine archetypes of selected daughters having paternal absence. There were eight (8) selected participants from selected towns in Rizal such as Antipolo, Morong and Tanay. This study made use of a case study type of descriptive qualitative method of research. It utilized a researcher-made structured interview and no measurement or statistics involved. It is a method of inquiry employed in many different academic disciplines traditionally in social sciences. The discussion showed that daughters having paternal absence are showing Feminine Archetypes specifically "The Mother Archetypes". In their community, especially in the house where they live, they are more likely to be a leader. They do not even want to be controlled by others but they are responsible, protective, and find great satisfaction in taking care of others. Putting others before themselves and neglecting their own needs is one of their behaviors. The study also showed that having paternal absence greatly affects how an individual develop their behavior and how they live their lives without thinking that there is one aspect of their personality which remains insufficient. By these, the researchers concluded that paternal absence displayed different feminine archetypes thus, the prominent archetype was the "mother archetype". This shows that the respondents take the responsibilities of their father. As a recommendation, Gender and Development Unit may integrate programs relative to feminine archetypes inside the school to meet various needs of women having paternal absence. The WME or World Marriage Encounter and other religious organizations may advocate and conduct seminars for couples or married partners to prevent separation that causes paternal absence. The Family and Life Program may have a collaboration with the Municipal Social Welfare and Development department to assist the families specially women experiencing paternal absence by giving them training that will enhance their personality despite of the situation they had experience and still experiencing. Also, the future researchers may utilize other variables such as profile of the respondents and the environment they live in to verify the results.
