Specifically, it attempted to design and construct an improvised impact testing device, perform try-out revision and determine the acceptability of the improvised impact testing device. In terms of usefulness, durability, and safety and maintenance. Likewise, it also determines the level of performance in terms of accuracy and speed. It was conducted at the university of rizal system, morong campus during S.Y. 2018-2019. On the design and construction of the improvised impact testing device the researchers prepared working drawing, list and estimate of materials and procedure to be followed during the construction and machine. Furthermore, the improvised impact testing device can be modified and can be constructed from locally available materials. Try out and revisions was also done by the researchers during the construction period of the improvised impact testing device. Through try-out and revision, the project reached the functional output and attained its purpose after revising the different defects found. The level of acceptability between the improvised impact device and existing impact testing device got extremely useful. Likewise, the existing impact testing device got extremely useful. Likewise, the existing impact testing device obtained extremely useful. In terms of safety and maintenance the improvised impact testing device attained extremely safe and maintainable while the existing impact testing device obtained extremely safe and maintainable. In terms of durability the improvised impact testing device obtained extremely durable while the existing impact testing device attained extremely durable. The acceptability of the improvised impact testing device achieved extremely significant compared to the existing impact testing device which also obtained extremely satisfactory. On the significant difference on the level of acceptability between the improvised impact testing device and the existing impact testing device in terms of usefulness, safety and durability. On the level of performance in terms of accuracy and speed, the improvised impact testing device attained a verbal interpretation of accurate and extremely fast respectively.
