Dissertation note: Thesis Bachelor of Technology major in Hotel and Restaurant Management University of Rizal System-Morong 2018 Summary: EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: The study aimed to determine the extent of globalization of selected hotels in mandaluyong city that served as the basis to future choice of employment during the school year 2017-2018 and the study was conducted in mandaluyong city. The researchers used the random sampling technique in choosing the respondents and by answering the researchers made questionnaire checklist, the respondents composed of ten (10) employees with the total of forty (40) respondents in four selected hotels in mandaluyong city. They were chosen to determine the extent of globalization of hotels in terms of accommodation, amenities, bell service, communication, concierge, facilities, food and beverage, front office, housekeeping, lobby and security. In order to determine the needed data, the researchers made questionnaire checklist to determine the extent of globalization of selected hotels in mandaluyong city. Also to determine if the selected hotels are suitable in standard operating procedure like in other country. The researchers made questionnaire checklist was preferred for the respondents and some data was gathered by means of interviewing them and about the hotel with they were chosen to determine the extent of globalization of hotels in terms of accommodation, amenities, bell service, communication, concierge, facilities, food and beverage, front office, housekeeping, lobby and security. The profile of respondents was found out that the majority of the respondents are in the range of 31 to 35 years old, male, college graduate, bellboy, 2-3 days length of stay at the hotel and 4-6 times stay at the hotel. The profile of selected hotels in mandaluyong city is found out in terms of classification the majority was deluxe, in terms of number of room was 130 above and in terms of number of employees was 100 and above. The extent of globalization of selected hotels in mandaluyong city in terms of accommodation, amenities, bell service, communication, concierge, facilities, food and beverage, front office, lobby, and security guard found as to be very good except housekeeping found as good. The null hypothesis stated that there is no significant difference on the extent of globalization of selected hotels in mandaluyong city in terms of age, sex, educational attainment, occupation with regards to amenities, bell service and security guard, length of stay at the hotel with regards to housekeeping, frequency of stay at the hotel per year, classification with regards to bell service, communication, concierge, facilities, food and beverage, front office, lobby and security guard was found accepted. On the significant difference on the extent of globalization of selected hotels in mandaluyong city in terms of number of employees with respect to accommodation, amenities, bell service, communication, concierge, facilities, food and beverage, front office, housekeeping, lobby and security guard was rejected.
