Dissertation note: Thesis Bachelor of Science in Psychology University of Rizal System-Morong 2019 Summary: EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: The study was conducted to determine the difference between the moral foundations as perceived by the law enforcers and the public and the relationship between the moral foundation and ethical integrity of law enforcers. The researchers adopted the questionnaire checklist by jesse graham et al, 2008 and marc-chares ingerson, (2014) as instruments in gathering the relevant information to determine the differences between the moral foundations as perceived by the police enforcers and public and relationship between the moral foundations and ethical integrity of police enforcers. The study is composed of one hundred (100) law enforcers and one hundred (100) community total of two hundred (200) respondents from taytay, rizal. The study made use of the mixed method of research design to determine the extent of moral foundations in terms of harm/care, fairness/reciprocity, in-group/loyalty, authority/respect and purity/sanctity. It also measured the extent of ethical integrity in terms of affect, cognition, conation, and ethical courage. The study used quantitative method utilizing the adapted and modified questionnaire in collecting data. Quantitative method was used to determine the difference on the extent of moral foundations as perceived by law enforcers and the public. The perceived moral foundations of law enforcers by public are much lower than the law enforcers themselves but both of them perceived that the law enforcers as conservatives. The data gathered from the perceived adapted from the provided adapted and modified questionnaire was statistical computed using the pearson r. With that computation, findings revealed that moral foundations have significant relationship on the ethical integrity of law enforcers. As the general recommendation for the law enforcers, public and future researchers. Seminars may be conducted by the Philippine national police (pnp) for the revisit of ethics and morale of the law enforcers with regards to their duties, they also may conduct seminars for both public through that barangay captain and the law enhance their relationship and to address the queries residing between them. Parallel studies may be conducted considering other aspects and variables.
