Thesis Master of Arts in Teaching major in Mathematics University of Rizal System-Morong. 2016
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: This thesis entitled "effectiveness of dynamic techniques in teaching trigonometry for college students" was conducted during the year 2015-2016 in students of university of rizal system. The study used an experimental method of research. The study was conducted to determine the effectiveness of innovative techniques in selected topic in trigonometry. The respondents of the study were the bachelor of secondary education first year students. To find out the effectiveness of dynamic techniques in terms of the different lessons in trigonometry the study used mean, standard deviation, dependent t-test, independent t-test, and mean gain. Based on the result of the study, it was found that the dynamic teaching techniques used by the researcher are more effective in enhancing the mathematical skills f the respondents than the traditional teaching techniques. Grounded from the summary of findings and conclusions, the recommendations were suggested: the teacher should utilize dynamic techniques which are more interesting and easy to understand. The students should be encouraged to use different dynamic techniques, particularly on lessons which they found difficult.
