Dissertation note: Thesis Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering University of Rizal System-Morong 2019 Summary: EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: This study aimed to design a mixed-use three storey building design of the University of Rizal System-Angono Campus Angono, Rizal which could help the students, faculty and employee of the municipal hall. This study also provides cost estimation for the design project. The study was conducted by the researchers at the University of Rizal System Morong on the second semester of the school year 2018-2019 and first semester of the school year 2017-2018. The researchers used developmental type of research was used in this study. The researchersfocused on designing, analyzing, computations and applications for a Mixed-use building design. The developmental research focuses on studies which involve the designing, developing, and evaluating the product to meet the criteria of internal consistency and its effectiveness. Based on the estimation of the researchers, it was concluded that the cost of the design building was Php.10, 888,990.62. The researchers come up with the design that will fulfill the purpose of the structure effectively such as Planning Phase; this includes the site selection process, space programming and site developmental plan. Preliminary Structural Design is estimated base on approximate analysis gained from past experience and national building codes of the Philippines. Structural Analysis, will determine the values of loads, physical structure and its components. Estimation of Loads and Designing of Slabs, Based from the analysis of the gathered data, the structural design of mixed-use three storey building of University of Rizal System Angono Campus, the researchers concluded that the set of plans and design of the building provided in the study can be adopted by the campus because it is capable enough to use by the students, faculty and by the employee of the municipal hall. From the summary and conclusions, the researchers recommend the following: First is the researchers recommend to used advance method and technique in estimating a building. Second is the researchers recommend to used advance method and technique in designing a building like STAAD. And lastly the project can be used as reference od the University Physical Facilities Development Unit (UPFDU) as a proposal to the president of the said university.
