Dissertation note: Thesis Bachelor of Elementary Education in Content Courses University of Rizal System-Morong. 2019 Summary: ARIES IN TERESA, RIZAL EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: This study was mainly concerned with the academic performance and non-academic engagement of 4p's beneficiaries in Teresa, Rizal. It was conducted during the academic year 2018-2019. The study wanted to find out the academic performance of grade 6 4p's beneficiaries from Teresa, Rizal for the last three academic years in terms of Filipino, English, Mathematics and Science, and non-academic engagement for the last three academic years. This made use of Form 137 to determine the academic performance and to be able to know the non-academic engagement of grade 6 4p's beneficiaries, the researchers'-made survey form was administered. The statistical treatments used were weighted mean and standard deviation, frequency distribution and One way ANOVA. The findings revealed that the grade 6 learners or 4p's beneficiaries performed satisfactorily in Filipino, English, Mathematics and Science. Moreover, the data revealed that the 4p's beneficiaries engaged in non-academic activities such as Athletics, Bigsayawit, Drum and Lyre Corps, Poster Making, Scouting activities and school organizations. Furthermore, there was a significant difference on the level of academic performance of grade 6 4p's beneficiaries in Teresa, Rizal for the last three academic years since the probability values were less than 0.05 level of significance. It was concluded that the 4ps beneficiaries have academic and non-academic engagement. Based on the analysis and interpretation of the data gathered, it was recommended that while the 4ps beneficiaries performed fairly satisfactory in English and Mathematics, schools may provide variety of academic activities to improve their performance. For the non-academic activities, teachers may encourage the parents and the beneficiaries of 4ps to participate in school related activities.
