The study was conducted to determine the performance of native pigs in terms of average daily gain in weight, feed conversion efficiency and feed consumption. An experimental type of research using randomized design with four treatments and three replications was employed. Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) and scheffe test form complete randomized design were the statistical tools used to analyze the average daily gain in weight, feed conversion efficiency and feed consumption. Twelve heads of native pigs at the age of one month were used in the experiment. The salient findings of the study revealed that the highest feed consumption of native pigs given with trichantera extract is higher than native pigs without trichantera extract in the diet.
