The stdy aimed to determine the performance of grade one pupils in mother tongue. The researchers applied descriptive method of research in this study. A test questionnaire were utilized to gather some data from the respondents. After the retrieval of questionnaire, the data gathered were tallied, computed, tabulated, analyzed, and interpreted according to appropriate statistical treatment.
