Dissertation note: Thesis MA in Education University of Rizal System 2011 Summary: This study on the attitudes towards physical fitness of the faculty and students of the University of Rizal System was conducted during the school year 2011-2012. The study aimed to assess the extent of attitudes toward physical fitness of the faculty and students of the University of Rizal System faculty and students in Cluster 1 and sought answer to the problems encountered by the respondents in physical fitness, the extent of the attitudes of the faculty members and students towards physical fitness in terms of health-related components, and skill-related components, the difference in their perceived attitudes towards physical fitness in terms of health-related components, and skill-related components, their suggestions for the improvements of physical fitness of the faculty and students and the proposed training program based on the findings of the study. It laid down the null hypothesis that there is no significant difference in the respondents perceived attitudes towards physical fitness in terms of the variables health related and skill-related components. In order to find answers to the questions stated, frequency distribution an rank, and t-test were the statistical tools applied for accuracy of interpretation.
