Dissertation note: Thesis Bachelor of Science in Psychology University of Rizal System Tanay 2018 Summary: The study entitled "Mood Swing Manifestations Among Grade 7 to 10 Students in University of Rizal System Tanay: Basis for Counselling Intervention Activity" aimed to determine the extent of mood swing among Grade 7 to 10 students in URS Tanay. Descriptive method utilized having two hundred fifty (250) Grade 7 to 10 students who served as the respondents. They were described in terms of age, sex, grade level, section and sibling position. Mood Swing is determined through the use of researchers adopted questionnaire about irritability, physical aggression, verbal aggression and anger. The researchers used questionnaire checklist in gathering data. Findings of the study revealed that in terms of age the 14 years old students have the highest frequency. The female respondents dominate in number against males, there are more Grade 10 students, and are first born children. As to extent of Mood Swing irritability, physical aggression, and anger are fairly manifested, while verbal aggression is manifested because most of the students tend to express their anger through verbal. When grouped according to profile, grade level vis-à-vis irritability and in terms of sibling position and physical aggression is rejected, and in terms of age and physical aggression is rejected. In terms of sex anger is rejected but in terms of section, irritability, physical aggression, verbal aggression and anger are accepted. In light of the foregoing findings there researchers came up with the following conclusions: the respondents have control on their mood manifestation, grade levels have varying manifestations on irritability and physical aggression, sibling position influenced students physical aggression. Based from the aforementioned conclusions the following recommendations are offered: students be provided with regular counseling, results of the study be disseminated to Principal's Office and Guidance Office for monitoring students, emotional development and last conduct of parallel studies along this area using the parallel be conducted.
