The study aimed to assess the reading performance of the Laboratory High School Indigenous People students of the University of Rizal System Tanay. The research utilized the descriptive method of research to ascertain its purpose. The percentage and mean scores were used in the interpretation of the gathered data. The study disclosed that many of the indigenous people student respondents are 16 years old, female, many are in Grade 7, included in the higher section, and earned an average grade range of 85-87. The respondents have a very good reading comprehension performance in terms of their age, gender, year level, section and average grade in English.
