Dissertation note: Project development report Bachelor of Agricultural Technology University of Rizal System Tanay 2019 Summary: PROJECT SUMMARY The salted egg processing was implemented by the OIP student at Sitio Malapapaya, Sampaloc, Tanay, Rizal on August 10 to October 7, 2017 covering two (2) cycle operations and utilized 500 pieces duck eggs. The second project was Baguio beans production which utilized a five hundred (500 sqm.) land area at Upper Bathala, Sampaloc, Tanay, Rizal. Planting of baguio beans was started on January 01, 2017 and last harvesting was on March 05, 2018. Cropping was limited to one cycle operation. The total expenses incurred for salted egg procesing was four thousand one hundred seventy seven pesos and fifty seven centavos (₱4,177.57). It generated a total sales of six thousand pesos (₱6,000.00). The total net income was one thousand eight hundred twenty two pesos and forty three centavos (₱1,822.43) and a return on investment of forty three and sixty two percent (43.62%). As regard to Baguio beans production, the total expenses was three thousand one hundred six pesos and seventy three centavos (₱3,106.73). The total sales of four thousand eight hundred pesos (₱4,800.00) gained a net income of one thousand six hundred ninety three pesos and twenty seven centavos (₱1,693.27) and a return on investment of fifty four and fifty percent (54.50%). The problems encountered in salted egg processing were the breaking of eggs during the transportation and difficulty of introducing the eggs to market due to it's color. On the other hand, for baguio beans crops were attacked by leaf miner and snails problems. The OIP student was benefited in the actual implementation of the enterprise and developed the entrepreneurial skills through the production and marketing of salted egg and baguio beans. The student gained knowledge in proper handling of the produce. The student developed her self-confidence and enhance her skills in producing salted egg and baguio beans. It also helped others by creating opportunities to work in the field and by learns proper management of agriculture related projects.
