Dissertation note: Thesis Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Technology University of Rizal System 2019 Summary: The implementation of the lettuce production project started last March 6, 2018 and ended on December 24, 2018. The primary activities done were land preparation and basal application suing composted chicken manure. It was followed by purchasing of seeds, soil media preparation and sowing of seeds. Transplanting was done 20-21 days after sowing. Replanting was also done to dead seedlings. The proponent adapted the organic way of farming. Harvesting was done 27-30 days after transplanting. Harvested lettuces were wrapped using banana leaves and it was tied with abaca strip. Banana leaves was used in wrapping the produce to preserve its freshness. The highest amount of harvest was recorded in the 3rd cycled operation at one thousand seven hundred forty eight and twenty kilograms (1,748.25 kg), while the highest wholesale and retail price was recorded in the 5th cycle at fifty pesos (Php 50.00) per kilogram for wholesale and sixty pesos (Php 60.00) per kilogram in retail.
