This study aimed to find out the Interpersonal Skills and Academic Performance of Indigenous Student of Sta. Ines from Grade seven to ten of Sta. Ines National High School for School Year 2018-2019. In this study descriptive research was used to gather the needed data. The statistical tools used mere frequency percentage, weighted mean, mean, chi- square and rank. The data were tabulated, analyzed and interpreted The salient findings of the study were as follows; Respondent from the bracket of 12-13 years old got the highest frequency of 46 among the respondents with the ages of 14-15 years old with the frequency of 27, followed by 16-17 years old with the frequency of 9 and the lowest frequency of 7 within 20 and above years old. There's no respondent's answers for are aging 18-19 years old. Most of the respondents are female, with the frequency of 44 or 53.0 percent against male. Many of the respondents came from Grade 7 with the frequency of 38. Majority of the respondent's educational attainment is elementary level with the parent's frequency of 48 or 57.80 percent for the father and 38 or 45.80 percent for the mother. Most of the respondents have 5,000-9,999 and below 5,000 monthly income. Majority of the respondents are first born in birth order with the frequency of 21 or 25.30 percent. The language they usually used at home is Tagalog. The respondents considered the interpersonal skills and academic performance as much practice in all of the following aspects, adjustment in the use of language, cooperation and class activities, confidence to mingle with classmates and teachers, ability to disclose feelings and ideas, and involvement in community works. The researchers recommended the following; the students should have self-motivation by joining social activities in school and community works to improve their interpersonal skills by exposing themselves to varied social activities like group dynamics in school and community works in their local barangay.
