Dissertation note: Thesis (Bachelor of Secondary Education major in English) -- University of Rizal System-Morong. Summary: EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: This study aimed to determine the instructional adjustments of Bachelor of Secondary Education major in English graduates in the University of Rizal System-Morong batch 2012-2015 which was conducted during the school year 2015-2016. The researchers believe that knowing the instructional adjustments made by the BSE-English graduates would be a great help not just to them but also to the students. The researchers also believe that by knowing this study, they will be more competent in teaching in the near future. This study made use of the descriptive method of research in utilizing a questionnaire-checklist as a man tool in order to gather relevant data. To determine the profile of the respondents in terms of sex, age, civil status, years in service, highest educational attainment and nature of appointment, frequency percentage distribution was used. Mean was used to determine the extent of instructional adjustments of the teachers in teaching the new curriculum in terms of sex, age, civil status, years in service, highest educational attainment, and nature of appointment, One-Way ANOVA was used. Based on the summary of findings presented, the conclusion was drawn: there is no significant difference in the instructional adjustments made by the respondents in terms of their profile with respect to content of the lesson, instructional materials and assessment. The respondents find difficult to teach the spiral lesson in the K-12 Curriculum and also the grammar as well as the vocabulary used in the lesson. In the light summary of findings and conclusion drawn, the following are recommended: Expose Education Students to different activities that will enhance their teaching abilities and develop confidence for them to become competent teacher in the 21st century; Conduct more trainings and seminars on lesson planning, strategies and approaches in teaching English in K-12 framework; and Conduct parallel studies utilizing other variables.
