EXECUTIVE SUMMARY : This study entitled Social Adjustment of Hearing Impaired Students in Morong National High School, S.Y. 2013-2014. This study determined the extent of social adjustment of hearing impaired students with respect to peer, classmate, family and teacher factor in terms of sex, age, monthly family income and parents' educational attainment. The respondents were the selected hearing impaired students of all levels consist of 4 males and 5 females, a total of 9 hearing impaired students in Morong National High School. In the selection of the respondents they used 75% of the total number of HI students in MNHS. They used questionnaire- checklist as an instrument in conducting this study. The descriptive method utilizing a questionnaire checklist as a tool in gathering data was used by the researchers because of its appropriateness in this study. Based from the result of the study, these are the following findings: There is significant difference on the extent of social adjustment of the respondents with respect to teacher factor in terms of sex; There is significant difference on extent of social adjustment with respect to teacher factor in terms of monthly family income; and there is significant difference on the extent of social adjustment of the respondents with respect to classmates, teacher and family in terms of educational attainment of the mothers. Based from the findings of the study, the following data were concluded: The profile of the respondents such as sex, age, monthly family income and parents' educational attainment provided background on determining the social adjustment of the hearing impaired students; Hearing impaired students are socially adjusted with peer, teacher, classmate and family. The degree of interaction of the extent of their social adjustment; and, sex, Mother's Educational Attainment and Monthly Family Income matters on the extent of social adjustment of hearing impaired students with respect to teacher factor. Based from the conclusions, it is recommended to: Direct a team building among students of hearing and non-hearing, including parents and teachers to sustain the extent of social adjustment of the hearing impaired students; Organize seminars among teachers, peers, classmates and family concerning a deeper understanding on the social adjustment of the hearing impaired; Pilot livelihood programs such as cooking, dress making, etc. among parents and students: and, conduct a parallel study using other variables.
